From 13 – 17 May 2024 the IFAT trade fair took place in Munich. Like in 2022, PREVENT has been present with a number of activities:

Monday – Friday:

• PREVENT was a co-exhibitor at the exhibition stand of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) – meet us at booth A5.153/352!
• Meet Our Members: You had the opportunity to meet other PREVENT members during allocated time slots at the PREVENT expo booth. Please find an overview of the Meet Our Member slots and participating members below.

Tuesday:

• Session on “How can EPR schemes support the Just Transition to a circular economy? “ (2.30-3.30 pm, Orange Stage)
• Get Together for PREVENT Members (3-6 pm, B6 Lounge)

Wednesday:

• Session on “Unlocking the power of data: How digital solutions contribute to a circular economy” (10-11.30 am, B61 conference room),
• Session on “Organic waste treatment with larvae of the Black Soldier Fly: A Win-Win-Win-Solution?” (11:30 am– 01:30 pm, B62 – conference room) organised by ISWA International Solid Waste Association with PREVENT participation.
• Session on “Innovative Plastic Recovery Finance Mechanisms for LMIC“(3.30-4.20 pm, Orange Stage)
