Amplifying Circular Storytelling: Circular Cities Asia Releases Finalists for Circular Stories Programme 2024
In their Circular Stories Programme, PREVENT member Circular Cities Asia partnered with talent industry experts, including Lilly Sedaghot and Dex Albao, to provide young environmental changemakers with a platform to tell compelling stories about circular economy innovations in their local communities.
Youth aged 18-25 were able to embark on an experimental learning journey with Circular Cities Asia and Industry experts. In a two-part online course, they learned about the principles of the circular economy and the art of storytelling to amplify local voices of change.
Participants could also enter in a competition either individually or as a team to submit their own idea for a Circular Story. Winning submissions secured an immersive mentoring workshop with Industry experts and more.
The Winning Submissions
From a pool of incredible ideas, Circular Cities Asia selected five finalists. Each story pitch represented a diverse range of mediums, including blogs, documentaries, storybooks, and investigative articles, highlighting various aspects of the circular economy and sustainability.
